Haji Azlan Abas

Tuan Haji Azlan Abas, aged 46, a Malaysian, was appointed Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on 15 June 2010.

He is a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. He has attended the Management Development Program at the Asian Institute of Management.

Prior to this appointment, Azlan was the Managing Partner of Azlan & Co, Chartered Accountants. He has served as Chief Investment Officer of MAA Assurance Berhad, Group Chief Executive of YPJ (Johor Education Foundation) Holdings Sdn Bhd and served Arab-Malaysian Corporation Berhad and Arthur Andersen & Co.
